We specialize in
cross-cultural mediation and conflict management
When
should you consider Mediation between different parties?
When conflicting
interests between you and your business partner(s), customers, suppliers
or service providers come to a head, and it looks as though legal action
is unavoidable, consider mediation. Mediation in many cases brings to
light a solution that neither party had imagined before and is satisfactory
to both.
Many situations
of conflict in your business, company or professional association or between
you and your partners in various walks of life do not need to be dealt
with by costly legal procedures. A legal solution might not even turn
out to be in your favor.
Also, consider that surprisingly often, seeming conflicts of interest
emanate from misunderstandings. These could be caused by differences in
culture, personality, language, professional environment and custom. Once
these are identified, they can easily be resolved by mediation before
the relationship deteriorates.
What should
you do?
Best is to call us up and discuss your case with us. Or you can start
by asking us about how we work and see whether you are gaining confidence
in us. Mediation is a delicate approach to solving problems and it takes
trust in the mediator to be effective.
We find that cases are so different, that we do not favor one particular
approach. Instead we will discuss with you what kind of approach will
work best for you.
What will be
the results?
Our first goal is to take the parties to a solution of the problems at
hand that is acceptable to both sides.
Where appropriate, we will be looking, together with the parties involved,
for a mode of communication and dealing with one another that will enable
them to solve future problems and conflicts by themselves. Surprisingly
to many, such efforts succeed in the majority of cases.
